Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
The pressure was on this week, with less than half the man power of last week we had to get even more painting done.
A 20minute run to Durning Hall, a brief wait for the ballet class to finish up and a minor heart palpitation as we were presented with new paints, none of which matched the bubblegum pink from before. (we discovered them later locked away in a nearby cupboard for our convenience…phew)
The masking tape prep and radiator cover removal seemed to take forever but once done we were on a role, one with a large roller in hand, one with a brush for the edges and the other with a small roller. Teamwork at its best.
Once again I managed to paint a little more of myself than the actual wall (I'm an artist honest!!). I was able to reflect on this later on whilst static stretching with my face pointing down towards my now pink lycras.
Carol was up for the lovely job of removing the tape borders, within 5 seconds she realised it was messier than the actual painting. As we downed tools we set off to Westfield with some Intervals in hope of knocking at least 30secs off our outgoing time, we managed 90seconds quicker even with a light jog at the end.
Great work GGNewham see you next week
