Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
We met up about 1.7miles away and ran a hilly route to Reg's house in Whitchurch. He was very happy to see us and pointed us in the direction of his greenhouse. It was obvious Reg is a very keen gardener but due to his recent physical limitations he's unable to do as much as he used to. So the plan now is to make his garden more accessible so he can enjoy it once again.
Due to Reg's planting-obsessed past the greenhouse was full of old plants, pots, seed trays and loads more gardening paraphernalia. He asked us to clear out everything except for the seed trays so we set to it. We cleared, bagged, raked, stacked, and skipped for an hour and when we had finished the place was nice and tidy and only required a few remaining bags of bits to be put into a new skip when it was delivered. Reg was chuffed with what we managed to get done and we set off.
