The Bradger's Hill Gang
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Luton and Dunstable Conservation Volunteers in Luton.
- Sunday, 18th of September 2022
- Led by David Mansfield
Three GoodGym members helped the Luton and Dunstable Conservation Volunteers with their project to restore the Bradger's Hill lynchets.
The lynchets are ancient farmlands, cut into the side of the hill, they formed a terrace of narrow fields. Long neglected, they had become covered with scrub and it was our job to clear some space to allow grassland to take over, and let archaeologists get a good view of this scheduled ancient monument.
