Natures Haven had a show garden at Hampton Court Flower Show, and Claire and Aleks needed help dismantling it the day after the show had ended. It was an early start in a bid to beat the traffic, but it worked! All the plants in soil had to be dug up and put back into pots - what a lot of plants we had packed into a small space! The raised beds then had to be dismantled. Then we had the challenge of trying to fit everything into the transit van, including some enormous pots containing trees, not an easy task. Not quite everything fitted in, but luckily I had room in my car to fit in the remaining trays of plants. It smelt lovely on the way home! Then it was back to Maidenhead to unload everything at the community centre. We were pretty exhausted by the end! Huge congratulations to Claire and Aleks for designing, orchestrating, building and making this amazing project happen, supported by all the other volunteers
