Two goodgym runners, Mikey and Ellen went out on a mission run today.

They were, clippin' in the afternoon sun clippin' until the evenin' come So Mrs. M could watch the ships roll in And then watch 'em roll away again, yeah

They were clippin' all the top of the bay Ready for Mrs. M to watch the tide roll away Ooo, they were just clippin’ all the top of the bay Giving up time

It was a beautiful run through the wonderful Roath Park, Mrs. M wasn’t able to get around at the moment due to an injury on her Achilles. She was very grateful for anything that could be done, she showed us the tools for the day and the tallest Bay tree that I’ve ever seen. With loppers Mikey took to the step and began taking it down so that Mrs. M could have her wonderful view back from her front lounge of the lake in its wonder. Ellen took to the window and began weeding and fighting back the brambles, also tidying up as the bay tree began to fall from the crazy lopper. After an hour and a half, a full green bin and a pile of tree waiting to fill another bin, it was time to stop. We went back in a chatted to Mrs. M who was very interested in Goodgym and what we do, always happy to talk about our group we stayed a little while longer. Finally done it was time for the end selfie and we ran off for a further run around in the sunshine.
