If your name is not on the list…you are still coming in anyway
The task tonight was to do a 90 minute shift at the Slough vaccine centre. It was all great to have a task helping locals get out of this pundemic!
Our efforts were not in vein tonight as although the booked appointments were a little slack there were plenty of walk-ins!
The task allocation was as follows;
Pam was on gel duty! She had plenty of people to shoot the gel out at so was rubbing her hands in glee!;
Sara who was a first timer at the vaccine centre was on ‘if your names not on the list’ (I’m still letting you in), as she flexed her muscles as head bouncer aka the roadhouse;
I was on overseeing duty.. aka The Cooler!;
And mask but not least we had Sandy on mask duty! You can mask her anything and she will answer… no strings attached! One lady even asked her if she was Indian… to which she replied … ''yes I’m from the Pun-jab!''
We are so versatile in Slough, that we can even do translations … teek hai!
The 90 minutes flew by! Great little community mission on a Monday night!
See you next week at a group run session near you!
