Despite the current situation that we are all facing it refreshing to know that we can still help out people in need. Sophie, Lenka and I were selected to visit Mr C and help make room for a hospital bed. So with the gloves on, masks on and keeping good distance to our best ability we faced the task of moving an unused double bed from the big bedroom to the unused living room. Move a worn out armchair outside to be collected by the council and simply tidying up the now used big bedroom to make room for a hospital bed that is planned to be arriving this afternoon. While the moving of furniture was fairly straightforward, the real mission was finding some items that Mr C was requesting for which included a certain opera book, a specific atlas, alarm clock and a base to a phone. We were fortunate to find half of these items. That was the end of the mission, that was inspected by the carer who gave her approval and we parted ways to self isolation.
