The GRAFTA rewards

Paul and I paid our third visit to Mrs S over the past few Saturdays to finish off what we started.

We managed to finally clear the back garden and also weeded the front much to the delight of Mrs S who has struggled to get the help she needed.

As she has difficulty with her hearing and eyesight and with English not being her first language, communication has not always been easy, but the numerous thumbs ups and an assurance that she was “very happy” told us that our efforts were appreciated.

If that were at all in doubt Mrs S rewarded us with some Dim Sum once we had finished our endeavours - some to eat there and then and some more to take home with us together with a “thank you” card - a lovely gesture and one that really did make us feel like we were Top Bananas!

A great way to spend the last three Saturday afternoons!
