Amy led the carpark bean-based warm up to goosen up our limbs before we set off for our group run to the Spencer Denny Centre. We were delighted to welcome two new members, Michelle and Emma who joined the rest of the GoodGym gaggle for their first mission. Well done to Sheila for cycling from Maidenhead to meet us at the Centre.

We had a quick gander of the tasks we had been set but there was no time for swanning around as we could not be-leaf how many leaves had covered the garden. Sheila took charge of the compost heap and Michelle and Steve got busy clearing leaves. Sophie did a fab job digging out the weeds from the patio and Amanda and Emma planted some new flowers. Much to Amy’s delight, the team then took their boots to dismantling an old, rotten cabinet. No stone was left unturned as the GoodGymers swept and tidied and cleaned making the garden lovely again for the local community users.

There were no exgooses given and everyone mucked in before Amy led a circuit fitness session and we ran back to our transport, clocking up an impressive 4km to and from the task.
