Mrs A was very proud of her huge new sash windows. As a cautious woman, she didn't want to do anything to invalidate the warranty. She'd waited and waited until the right time, now, to put her curtains back up using her trusty curtain pole. GoodGym had been called in to help give Mrs A her privacy back and make her flat a bit warmer over winter.

Kash and Sevan arrived to find Mrs A's friend waiting for them on the street, who ushered them inside to meet Mrs A. The GoodGymers were told that they could keep their shoes on, but after 2 wet gardening tasks, they thought better of it and entered the flat in the sopping wet socks only.

Mrs A pointed at the impressive windows in her living room and showed Kash and Sevan the curtain rail. Sevan saw a problem, then a second, then a..., well, he initially saw 4 problems to sort out before he and Kash got going on hanging the curtains up.

Kash and Sevan discovered that:

1. There was no curtain rail in place. It was in bits on the floor, on the coffee table and in a nearby cupboard
2. There were 2 curtain poles to cover the wide window with no way of joining them together
3. The window fitters had filled the holes where the curtain rail brackets used to be screwed into
4. There were no screws or Rawlplugs to attach the brackets to the wall
5. ...even if there were, Mrs A didn't own a drill
6. There was no third bracket to hold the weight in the middle where the 2 poles joined
7. ...even if there were, the window fitters had placed a plastic fascia strip between the windows where the bracket used to be screwed in

Even Kash and Sevan couldn't find solutions around all of these problems. In fact, they were pretty stuck with all of them. They gave Mrs A some advice on how she might solve some of the issues they'd found and explained to her how to get another GoodGym mission requested once she and her curtain pole were ready.
