Today I was getting some shopping bits for Ms. M.

It was all straightforward enough and the weather was finally cool for a change (with even some rain), which was pleasant as it was an uphill run all the way.

I saw a Shih Tzu and a Pug on the way out the shop. According to Wiki, they are both Chinese breeds and were once both highly-prized. Pugs had dedicated Imperial guards and Shih Tzus were so coveted that Chinese royalty didn’t permit any to leave the country for many centuries. More recently they can be seen in the arms of ‘The Simple Life’ stars Nicole Richie (Shih Tzu) and Paris Hilton (Pug).
