The Slabnificent Seven
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Crystal Palace Museum in Bromley.
- Saturday, 16th of February 2019
- Led by Adele Prince
Bromley regulars Tim and Louise joined 5 others (including Roxy the dog) to continue the work started on Tuesday evening to create a path through the garden of the Crystal Palace Museum. It was certainly easier in the day light!
Louise set to work carefully edging and digging out the path alongside the vines, taking care not to cut through the string, whilst Tim had soon removed a rose bush next to the fig tree, so the slabs to create a lovely circular feature could be positioned by our resident pro, landscape gardener Louise.
Progress was swift with the groundwork complete and ready for the first slabs to be laid. Tim channelled his inner builder to mix the concrete, and by the end of the task three slabs were in place. Good work team!
