After an unusually dry set of April tasks we knew that we were due some rainy ones and this one definitely didn't disappoint on that score. However that didn't deter 6 of us from helping the Friends of Rowntree Park by digging holes for a long line of fence posts. We also had the task of fitting the posts and filling back round them. After a recent fence post task that proved quite hard work we weren't sure how far we'd get in an hour. However, as Zinnie said, these were "a walk in the park!" This was helped by the rain making the ground softer and the lack of concrete under it. With 4 digging and 2 screwing, we made short work of it and finished the whole line in 45 minutes. The line wasn't entirely straight but thanks to Leanne's organisation skills, mostly level and the posts were the correct depth in.
