Thistle Do Nicely!
5 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help the Penrose Roots to Recovery in Luton.

A fabulous five runners came along to get digging at the Penrose Roots to Recovery garden, where a plot we previously weeded had become infested with thistles!
The ground had been softened by rain so it wasn't too hard going but those thistles do have deep roots!
We've made enough space in this plot for the first crops to be planted out, so we'll see some squashes there soon!
Bodies all a bit weary from a busy weekend we stopped at the bandstand on the way back into town and took some time for a deep recovery stretch to keep everything loose and limber!
