On a bank holiday where the weather was definitely more suited to sun-bathing than running, Will and I met at Miss M's house for our mission. We had both had long and hot runs from Hounslow, Will impressively opting for a winding scenic route through Richmond park, rather than my more direct approach!

Miss M explained that a previous GoodGym mission had done a brilliant job on her garden, but over the last few months the grass and bushes had grown back up, and needed some attention. Enjoying the coolness of the shady garden, we quickly got stuck in with Will manning the lawnmover, and me tacking the bushes with secateurs.

We were kept fully entertained by Rosie, Miss M's 8 month old yorkie , who was loving having some new people to play with, and helping any way she could. She did her absolute best job of rolling in the leaf clippings and carrying sticks around the garden - can you get GoodGym t-shirts in dog sizes yet?

After 90 minutes of clipping, trimming and mowing, the garden very much looked cared for again, and we had a row of full bin bags. It's amazing how a little work from GG'ers can make a big difference to someone's life; Miss M was very grateful and said how much of a difference we had made to the view from her windows!
