... to stop us from heading out on a grey, but pleasant Saturday morning litter pick.

Ealing Foodbank was host to 2 Goodgym missions today, with the regular mission at the foodbank accompanied today by a litter picking in the grounds and borders of St Mellitus Church and Hall.

The church sits on the corner of 2 busy roads, next to a bus stop and opposite a petrol station, all potential sources of rubbish. Never mind, Goodgym are here to clean up the area and hopefully prompt more people to bin their rubbish next time. Many bags of rubbish were filled, but no significant finds to report today.

Helping local people in crisis

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
