It was back to the Bevy, a community owned pub that runs projects for local groups of all ages. Whether its bringing in socially isolated retirees for Friday lunch or providing meals to children from low income families, the team at the Bevy are definitely local heroes.

We met Warren and Jonathan to help out with some gardening in the impressive vegetable terraces and a general tidy up of the outside seating area. Jay, Katharine, Susan and Jason helped Jonathan with the veggies, while Michael and Rosemary dead headed and watered the flower boxes in the outdoor seating area. And last, but by no means least, newcomer Philippa single handedly weeded the front of the pub and then helped this chatterbox with the litter picking. Hope you enjoyed your first Goodgym mission, hope to see you at another and group runs once social restrictions have eased!

We were treated to a gorgeous sunset before we said our goodbyes. Hopefully our next visit to The Bevy will include a few bevies!
