George, Helen, Hannah, James and I (Rachel) all separately took on the #5kGardenGrind challenge - to run 5k around our respective homes and gardens, with the mental aspect more of a challenge than the physical one. I didn't bank on my GPS working so poorly and ducked out after 42 minutes, even though it was only registering 2.9km (I definitely had run at least 5km!) Props to the others who kept going until their watches said 5km, even when it took the best part of an hour! Shout out to Sam also, who took on the same challenge yesterday in lieu of parkrun. And lastly to Andrew, whose heart was in it, but managed to break his toe a couple of days before and had to back out.

The main reason we all took on this challenge (apart from to keep us busy and active) was to raise awareness and money for the NHS in these troubling times. Any donations are welcome: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/rokman-garden-run At the time of writing, they have raised over £1500, going directly to the NHS to help in the fight against COVID-19.
