Maxine, Louisa and I tried to contribute to the Big Garden Birdwatch but the birds on Great Salterns were far too sensible to come out on a wet Sunday afternoon. We could hear a lot of twittering from the hedges and bushes but unfortunately not many sightings. But a handful of pigeons, blackbirds and magpies braved the wet weather to allow us to submit some data to the RSPB.
