One week on from the roasting marathon weekend and London has been quite drizzly. As a result, Mrs R's weeds have been thriving in the soggy soil. 2 runners visited to start clearing the weeds and preparing the space for turf. Good progress was made and the light pitter patter of rain didn't escalate into a downpour - which was lucky; the ground was quite muddy enough already. 2 hours and 4 bags later, half the garden has been cleared and raked, ready for 2 more runners to tag-team in another time and finish the job.
