Ben had signed up to do packing, but there was quite a lot of packers there already. Instead, he ended up doing a delivery round with his partner as they were in need of more drivers. They had 9 bags for 7 stops and some extra refrigerated sandwiches and frube type yoghurts to give out. The route had already been optimised for them, so even though they didn't really know the area, they were able to manage really well.
This shows some progress in the organisation of this rapidly developed community operation. As our early community missions were a bit tricky, especially considering the routes, it sounds like they’ve got it working like clockwork now. One of our earliest volunteers, Tousif, was already signed up for deliveries. Today he had a nice, easy route as well. He delivered to 9 addresses, a total of 10 parcels.
