When it was time to leave for our regular visit to the Single Homeless Project Allotment only one person was signed up. The allotments are not considered safe for solo missions but luckily LSH Ed agreed to come along and help.

We decided to clear the fruit trees of the overgrown grass, brambles and bind weed. The area has got so overgrown even the Walnut Tree seems to be swallowing up the shed. Previous shoring up of said shed worked really well, opening, shutting and re-locking of the door was much easier this time.

There are a lot of fruit trees and it seemed like a big task for two, then the cavalry arrived in the shape of last minute sign up, Emdad on his bike. The trademark red GG T-shirts are always a welcome sight and unexpected shows even more so. With three of us tackling the tree bases we were finished within the hour feeling very accomplished.
