We had unexpected walk-ins at the Foodbank Shop on Friday - two ladies from the ITV London news crew. They were interviewing locals about the news of the day - Theresa May to stand down. They interviewed Lester and later, Debbie, the Foodshare Trustees. During the interview, they directed us to "mill about" in the background. Suddenly the three of us had nothing to do, 😂! We fake-fixed shelves, pretending to look busy. The camera lady asked me to "continue fixing the soup cartons" as she took close-ups of my hands.
Thank goodness the filming ended as soon as it had started. We had customers lining up and it was time to get on with the duties.
I don't know if the ITV segment aired or if we were even in it, but it sure made the day (slightly) memorable.

Haha this is brilliant! I will be sure to get a selfie with your famous soup-fixing hands when I next see you. Well done!
