Today's shopping list for Ms D was DIY, inasmuch as she hadn't had the chance to write down a list, so asked me to remind of her of the things she usually gets and write them down myself, plus anything else I could think of when I was in the shop - fortunately she didn't need too much this week, so the memory test was a short one.

She did though ask me to get her three second class stamps - I discovered Waitrose only does books of 8, so found myself at her nearest Post Office, where they have a "take a ticket and queue" system, which reminded me a little bit of visiting A&E...thankfully this queue moved reasonably quickly.
