On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Tiffany and I headed to Kingston to help Mr L. A very keen gardener, he had put a lot of hours into making a lovely outdoor space to sit and enjoy and very proudly pointed out the shed he had built, the wall he had pointed and the flag stones he had laid! Unfortunately, a broken hip had halted progress over the last couple of months, so he had contacted goodgym for some assistance.

The main task was to tidy up the flowerbed that had become very overgrown with grass and weeds and remove the large stones. Whilst I hacked at it all with shears, Tiffany got stuck in with the spade to get to the roots and turn the soil - excellent team work! Mr L also took the opportunity to enjoy the sun, sitting in his swing chair and entertaining us with stories of his travels and the local history.

After nearly an hour and a half, we stood back to admire our hard work and take the all important after photo. Luckily we managed to clear away all the tools, get our jackets on and help Mr L up out of the swing seat just before the rain came!

Mr L was really appreciative of everything we had done and was keen to put in another request for goodgym help soon!
