Today was a special day in that it marked the 100th good deed of the wonderful Clare! 100 good deeds for people and places around South London. Amazing!
The 'Where Is Clare?' Affair
It didn’t get off to the smoothest of starts though as Clare struggled to meet us at the task - you know how places always look totally different in the dark?! She made it eventually though and got stuck with everyone else who’d started blitzing the weeds at the fab TNG Youth Centre.
Their sports courts were looking a little messy, so we were yanking up the weeds around the edge and bagging them up. It was a weird weed, which I’d say resembled spinach… though sadly no one was up for trying it.
After a good half hour we called it a day to take some photos celebrating Clare’s momentous achievement! We tried to make the shape of 100 with our bodies, and a bin and 2 tyres was probably the neater effort…
We then jogged back (the hilly route) and a few of us stuck around for a beverage.
Massive well done to Clare and props to everyone else for smashing it tonight! 💥
