We had a last minute change of plan tonight! St Christopher's Hospice required three Christmas trees to be erected and decorated and our flyering task wasn't looking too enticing with the bad weather, so we hit the streets and made our way to St Christopher's to spread some Christmas cheer to the staff, patients and visitors!

We had a nippy (quite fast actually) 2k run to the hospice, taking in some of the quieter roads between Penge and Sydenham, and arrived to meet many bags of decorations and trees! We put up the trees across 3 floors - a lovely welcome to each ward. Lights went on first, baubles second and a healthy dose of tinsel to finish off.
In the end we had 3 trees of varying characters:
๐ตA mostly blue tree - very classy, which matched Clare's jumper perfectly
๐ด A classic red and blue tree
๐And the small tree on the top floor was the "kitsch" tree, featuring vintage looks, bright colours and some lovely coloured lights.
A few staff members mentioned that they looked great and when the morning staff arrive tomorrow, hopefully it'll bring a smile to their faces ๐

Great work gang! We put the HO HO HO in the HOspice!
