Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Frances Collier-Wright
On arrival it looked like a simple enough task - clear all the weeds and get some weed killer sprayed on the roots to stop them coming back. Mrs A was even keen to help us by hacking at some bushes with her machete. But it turns out weeds are a stubborn bunch and the sun beating down didn't help. So it was a tough 1hr15 of grafting, but we managed to get the ground cleared and even successfully interpreted the instructions on the weed killer and got a liberal coating done within the time. A quick sip of water and off we trotted. Job done.
