Good afternoon Goodgymmers. Today marked the return of the three musketeers or (probably more apt because I'm part of it) the unholy trifecta that is Beth, Mridula (me) and Neil to go over to Mrs S's house to help tidy up her garden. We were greeted by her daughter in law who set us off to work.

Now Beth, Neil and I had done another mission together before, where I had seen a fight on a bus, had a tonne of fun at a mission, and then went to eat a hot dog with Beth. This time, on my way up, I saw a fight on a bus, and I ate a hot dog before the mission (sorry Beth, I had to eat lunch but it wasn't the same without you. Actually it was better because I got to scrape up all the crispy bits of onion off the bottom of the plate without feeling like someone would judge me) and had a tonne of fun at the mission. I think we are going to have to do another mission together just to see if this happens again.

After a short panic where Neil chased down my glove storage bag (it's effectively a zip lock bag) and reenacted that scene from American Beauty without the pretentious voice over, we got to work yanking and pulling the weeds and talked about all the things that had changed since our last meeting. Both Neil and I are in new jobs and still doing goodgym regularly. And Ole 500 Missions Beth got to go to the top of the BT tower as a treat but since then was slacking because of bake off. It's a well earned break, though now that it's over, she will probably be on her way to a 1000 good deeds. I will attempt to beat you to it Beth, even if I have to Tonya Harding you.

In an hour and a half we had made a significant dent but this could definitely use another crack. We all cleared away as much as we could with Neil using the patented get in the bin and jump on the weeds till we can get more in. And Beth proved her 500 missioning skills by tying together bags that had bested me and Neil. I provided comedy value, invaluable in completing any mission. When all was done, we bid farewell to Mrs S and went on to our Sundays feeling good about the good deed we had done.

If you get a chance, find your other musketeers and head on over to Mrs. S's house to help out! Till next time folks!
