Sharon, Gosia and Steph (doing her first mission ever! 🙆‍♂️🎈🎉) met up in Wandsworth today to help Mrs C in tidying up her garden. The garden is big and lovely but a bit overgrown and needed a general work doing including pulling weeds and defining the flowerbeds.

Mrs C welcomed us with a gentle smile and gave us quite precise instructions what she would like us to help with. We were equally kind welcomed by Shakira (mi casa, su casa 🎶😊!) - Mrs C's cat 🐺 who was absolutely sweet, cuddly and constantly craving for our attention (cutness overload! 🍬🍭🍫).

We have been provided with a proper set of gardening tools and quickly proceed to our tasks. The weeds were literally everywhere and carefully covered literally everything else growing in this garden. These pesky plants have quickly became our main point of intervention. Step by step we were discovering potatoes 🥔, spinach 🍃, raspberries 🍇 and roses 🌹. This was so satisfying! At the same time we were collecting an impressive pile of weeds which eventually filled around 7 x bags of garden waste.

In the meantime, Mrs C served us water with ice which was great and super-refreshing as it was very sunny and we all became thirsty very quickly! Shakira was keeping an eye on our progress almost all the time.

When we got rid of the weeds, we grabbed a shovel and started to shape up and prepare flowers beds. As Mrs C said, she is planning to plant some wild flowers there. We cleared a nice chunk of space and got it ready to use for planting.

Mrs M was really glad and thankful for our help, for our way home she gave us a peach and some rhubarb we could prepare and eat later at home. Shakira after utilising the guest for cuddles, didn't bother that much to say goodbye 😁.
