Three GoodGym members met at the Phoenix Cinema to run to help Stephens house and gardens. We started off with a slow jog to warm up and picked up speed. Niki lead us through the winding small streets of East Finchley to finally reach a side entrance of the park. We were joined by Kirsten on her bicycle and Jennifer. The warm Twilight evening was then illuminated by a red moon just above the horizon. It was a beautiful evening to be out. We met with Josh the park keeper who directed us to help clear some flower beds of weeds. We made quick work and were able to do a warm up before jogging or cycling home. Thanks for coming and helping this charity park, being active and social! you did good!
Stephens house and gardens is a fascinating place to visit with a café playground and garden castle.
A Grade ll listed house with extensive landscaped gardens, gifted for the use and enjoyment of the people by Henry Charles 'Inky' Stephens of the Stephens' Ink Company.
