So well done in getting out to remember this special day.

The photos are fantastic as are some of the testimonies and things we learn along the way

Some walked 9km in rememeberance and others while explaining how they lose so many poppies usually also shared that they have signed up to a 42km in April next year !!!

Most went to or through Marble hill which has been praised by many for it's display this year. Cathy and Salwa shared the tale of a lovely walk around the park admiring how the community came together to create such wonderful poppy decorations, one for each life lost. The usual commemorative parade had to be cancelled but a wreath was laid at 11am. We also met a staff/volunteer member of Marble Hill House who had a stall set up to share all of the amazing plans for the house, and park over next years. The story and courage of Henrietta who was the lady of the house is being recounted and shared to give hope and inspiration to other women who may be struggling as she did but overcame significant challenge. She rocked!

Others went the extra mile and got scenes from other areas in our borough too!

How ever you remebered, well done for doing so and thanks for sharing ; - )
