Dirty enough for you??
Well done everyone - that got a little dusty and green. Hope you have all managed to clean yourselves off and have gone back to your normal colour.
A good dusting
So tonights task involved a gentle 3km run along the canal to Brockhill home to help prepare their garden furniture for summer. We arrived with a warm welcome from our two residents who took us through to the garden. Equipped with sandpaper we got to work. It was great to see what a difference it was making.
Everyone managed to get the dirt somewhere and it didn't take long for us to look like we had done a hard days work.
With the furniture getting a clean and goodgym members getting dirty it was time for us to head back to base. Even with George and Barbara now living further away they still made the effort of coming along to lend a helping hand. Thank you.
We have a mission
Well done to Anne who has teamed up with Veronica for their first mission together this weekend. Don't forget if you are interested in completing a mission - have a look on the website to find out more.
Will it rain??
The question on everyone's mind... will Barbara's weather forecast be right?? She said two weeks of no rain. Week one has been completed with NO RAIN!! She's now feeling the tension and had second thoughts on her report but can she be right? Of course next week we are meant to be going to the allotment, so we all know what that means.... Rain!! So please let Barbara be right and fingers crossed for no rain next week otherwise you may end up with one of Nick's bootcamp sessions!!
Next Group Run: Derrys Allotment - Remember you will likely be getting muddy so don't turn up in your best active wear - save that for sainsburys shopping instead.
Also if you are up for the challenge - Get in touch with Nick and come along to our off road hill running loop on the Maultway - Thursday evening at 7:30pm.
