8 runners ran to a local community centre, did dome cleaning, and ran back

Another Wednesday, another chance to do something good, different and get a little fitter. This week we were besieged with Hammers fans. A midweek game for them caused most of us a little diversion, but we still managed to leave in good time.

After our ritual random question section (favourite cereal and biscuit), we pegged it out of the Olympic Park, illuminated with our fellow runners' eating preferences. We weaved gracefully through the West Ham Fans, as they bowled towards us and the stadium with a pint, or two, in hand. Was Carol amongst them?!

Just under 3k later, we arrived at Durning Hall. Window cleaning was what they needed doing, so that's what we did. Two teams formed, and got straight to it. 15mins later, with significantly cleaner windows, plus a good forearm and back workout, we left.

Led by Violeta, we glided through the backstreets of Newham, a detour, but good to get some more miles in and mix it up. I lost my bearings when I realised I couldn't locate the big red orbit thingy (a blessing I suppose), I refrained from panic and stayed stoic. Knowing that others had a vague idea of where they were.

Even though we managed a decent 4 mile run, we still squeezed in a super quick circuit. Stair jumps, press ups and russian twists. Capping off a lovely evening in East London.
