Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
A gorgeous, clear and crispy winter's day is just the type of fresh invigorating fuel that powers the GoodGym Newham machine. This week's session, was indeed powered by such conditions. The lights of the Olympic Park twinkled under a clear sky. Scene set.
With sessions set up for the following two weeks, it was a shame that we couldn't manage to plan one for this evening's outing. However, was still a highly productive session. Where he honed our core stability, leg strength and pacing skills...all with an eye on using our new found fitness on our next task.
After some drills, we jogged down to the Velodrome. Starting off with some plank work, abs were permanently etched into abdomens. Then onto the roughly 400m time trial of the velodrome perimeter. There was pb , some new first time efforts and a couple of hard honest runs that will no doubt be beaten next time around. We topped it all off with some leg conditioning and lateral agility work.
Blimmin' great effort guys, tenacious stuff. ...stretch it out!
See you next week!
