For this task we returned to help out at The Haven. Like our last visit two weeks ago it was raining and cold. Booo! Happily, today's tasks (clearing an overgrown area and shifting a big pile of wood chip) were a little easier going than that week. Despite the rain and a runner being (temporarily) trapped in a cemetery, in the end we had a team of five Goodgymers to get it done. Haven knows I'm (not) miserable now!

Nathalie, Matthew and Richard made short work of clearing the old growing area, leaving it ready for a new chicken coop.

Meanwhile back at the pile Russ and Jim had been busy shovelling and wheelbarrowing the wood chip. Apparently Russ is a big fan if pile-ates.

Once the overgrown area was cleared, we thought woodn't chip be nice to move the whole pile? So we all chipped in to make it happen. The pile-ton of athletes soon had all the wood chip inside the site ready for future projects. Chip, chip, hooray!

We then bid farewell and headed home. Hopefully not getting trapped in a cemetery again.
