Eleven simply tough Good gym runners braved the cold and rain to help Martin Primary school. Gathering at the Phoenix we warmed up while brain storming our favourite film releases. It was a simple short run to the school along the high street but it was very cold. On arrival we sheltered from the rain while Tristan explained what we had to do. Using two wheel barrows and a couple of bins we had to transport wood chip down into the woodland to build pathways for the school children. Taking turns to shovel and transport we whittled the pile down, before calling a halt to proceedings , as the hands become too cold to operate! We finished off with a lap of the school field with intermittent speed running. Time to head back to the warm Phoenix for a warm down and a biscuit. (courtesy of Damian) Thanks for coming and doing good!

I received the following text from the school
