It was a beautiful morning to be out in Woking Park for this week’s parkrun. This morning Richard led the first timer’s welcome, welcoming new runners, joggers and walkers to the event, and Victoria was the tailwalker.
The event went smoothly, and with neighbouring Guildford parkrun being cancelled there were more people than usual, with 323 people completing the 5km course, in addition to 22 volunteers who ensured the event could take place safely and efficiently.
58 people achieved new course PBs (including Richard), and there were 49 first timers to Woking.
We’ll be back at the park tomorrow morning for the junior edition!
