On a crisp autumn evening, three GoodGym-ers arrived at Shrewsbury House to help with their charity clothes swapping event. One of us had run to the task, and the other two had been walkers.

To start with, we chipped away at the big pile of clothing donations, laying them out neatly on the tables, organised by type and size.

Once this was in the bag, we moved on to sorting through different soft plastic packaging types for recycling through TerraCycle. We divided the crisp packets from the bread bags, and the laundry sachets from the sweetie wrappers, without a single snack-cident.

After an hour and a half we had it all wrapped up, so we said our goodbyes and headed our separate ways. We hope this event made a packet for their chosen charity!
