Today, two Goodgymers alongside several regular Vauxhall foodbank volunteers, lifted, sorted and packed several donated food items. We came across a huge lemon called a ponderosa. You can make a refreshing Guyanese drink called Swank from this fruit. Google it to find out how 🍋🍋🍋. We also took it in turn to guess the weight of the water melon. It range from very heavy, heavy and not so heavy. 🍉

Four Goodgymers attended today 's session and worked together like a dream!

Brenda, Ros and Ingrid met Refugee Day Centre volunteer Simon for another evening sorting the donations. We tidied up the clothing on the rails, removing empty hangers and ensuring everything was facing the same way.

We finished by moving the rails into the storage room. As there were only three of us, this was quite a task, and we all felt we had a good workout, especially for our arms!

We said our goodbyes and wished Simon a Happy Easter, as the next session will be on Tuesday 22nd April. Thank you to Brenda for tonight's pun and photos.

Today, Goodgymers, Anna, Brenda and Susan joined Vauxhall food Cooperative volunteers in refilling, sorting, packing and stacking food donations in preparation for tomorrows shop. It was certainly a race against time due to the delivery being delayed.
