Today I joined a team of volunteers unload, unpack and replenish stocks at Borough food pantry. It was an enjoyable 2 hour session from 10.30am to 12.30pm

Vauxhall Gardens foodbank is open on Fridays from 12pm to 2pm ,which includes the pre setting up and the post clearing up, as well as serving 80 plus customers during the 2 hour serving time.

It was an incredibly heart warming day at the centre, where our team had the privilege of helping many members of our community access essential resources. Seeing the genuine smiles and ensuring every individual and family could leave with food for their homes made all the hard work feel meaningful.

Today two Goodgymers put in an extra shift in preparation for the foodbank on Friday.

Today, we were made to feel like part of VGCC core volunteers team. We were certainly needed, as there was plenty to do, such as unloading, unpacking, sorting, counting , storing, cutting and packing away several food deliveries.

Today, I assisted Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre with their food donation delivery in preparation for their Friday foodbank service
