It was VERY warm even at 08.45 but still 11 juniors arrived for a Junior Parkrun. They were told to be extra careful participating in this heat. They did slowdown a little. I was lucky on marshal point 5 as I was under a shady tree, and the children enjoyed this shady part of the 2K course.

We had a great turnout for an evening of bracken pulling at Mousehold Heath.

It was a shock (but a very pleasant one) to see the return of Panda Dave, who was actually completing his 50th GoodGym deed!

Will the Warden took us to an area of the heath where the evasive bracken was preventing the heather from thriving. So our task was to clear as much bracken as possible, to allow the heather to breath and flower.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the team get done. We transformed the area we were working in.

Leo and Emrys (the GG Norwich mascots) also enjoyed the evening.
