We had out annual Xmas evening at Redmayne View Housing with Care.
There were plenty of residents dressed up up Xmas hats, reading for a fun fulled evening.
We started with a few games of Bingo then turned it up a notch by singing various Christmas Carols to finish off the evening.
Merry Christmas everyone.

We had a great turn out this evening, as we always do at Norwich Foodbank.
The main tasks were sorting though donations and putting together Xmas bags.
Our annual December visit always kick starts Xmas.
Well done everyone, Keith and the Norwich Foodbank are so appreciative of us helping them.

Starting at 10am, Goodgymers who arrived explored the interior of the house to locate the tools needed ready to get to work.
Further goodgymers arrived which included Eloise who achieved her 25th good deed.
The task was to remove as many rose roots as we could from the former rose garden located at the back and it certainly put the ‘gym’ in Goodgym. It was a gigantic effort by all to remove the many upon many stubborn rose roots, in very cold weather which became more challenging as rain began to fall. It was certainly back breaking and required a lot of muscle from all.
This mission was reminiscent of the 2019 task outside the Norwich Train Station removing rose roots in the autumn/winter.
Despite the weather, goodgymers pushed on outside and were rewarded with coffee, tea, biscuits and a tour of the outside and inside of the house (in our socks).
In homage to Hitch and his many large fish he has caught, Woody and Jonathan saw a great photo opportunity to proudly hold up high the massive bush they removed together with Eloise as photographer.

We had a last minute change of task and thank you Bobby Bakewell for arranging a new task at short notice.
The team met at Mousehold Sea Scouts and did a litter picker around the local area including Kett's Cave.
Well done everyone!
