Six runners braved the weather and came to the Care Home for the first quiz of the year and boy what a surprise we had they put on a supper for us Cheese and Biscuits snacks and one resident made a cake plus there was even wine it was a nice surprise.We split into two teams ,the names being Next Door To The Fridge,and The Octagons.We had 30 questions ,20 questions on 2025 and 10 on General knowledge.In the end it was a tie on 19 points each so we had a tie brake and the winner was Next Door To The Fridge.After which we all had supper which was every nice we where spoilt.We shall be back to the Care Home on the 9th Febuary please put the date in your Diaries.

It was great to meet up with four Goodgymers after the festive season..It was nice to meet up with Loren for the first time she had just moved to Bournemouth from London.We meet at the Auger Collective which is a new charitable Art Gallery previously we have rollered the walls .We where set the task of rolling the walls once more as there where some patches.So the four of us set to and soon had the walls done and the paint cleaned off the floor so it would be all nice for the grand opening on Thursday To which we have been invited to attend at 6pm . Please keep an eye on the web site as there will be a lot of tasks posted.

It was great to see Mohammed today and it was great that he brought his friend along how loved all that Goodgym do he has signed up will done Majed look forward to seeing you again.What a brilliant charity caring for children with learning disabilities.We run the coffee shop for them so the staff could spend more time with the children so they could enjoy the experience with Santa in his Grotto.The children all had a brilliant time it was such an honour to be part of the experience

It was nice to see so many Goodgymer's brave the weather and come along to the Care Home for the Monthly Quiz {please don't leave it so long}.We split into two teams so that there was an equal amount of residents and Goodgymers on each team. The quiz started with a picture round which was name the dog i.e. Mutley which was fun then we had a round where a phrase was handed out and you had to count up how many F's there was,this was followed by Two General Knowledge rounds.Once the scores where added up both teams had 50 points each so we had to have a tie breaker question not one,but three questions later we had a winner.Which was Janet's Team The Smart Alecs and a close second was Lea's Team the Smart Thinkers.Well done to you both. Once again thank you for you all for coming along it means so much to all the residents. Next Month after the quiz we are going to the Alpine Bar in the Square for a Drink so please come along and Join us Its Monday December the 8th please make a note.
