Welcome to the annual transformation from Night Shelter to B&B. The tasks included painting, cleaning, shifting things and eating left over food.
The cleaning was mainly of the bathrooms and what an amazing job was done! Painting was continuing the excellent job done on Thursday with roller and brush. Shifting? Well how do you fancy moving a tumble dryer? You do? Excellent! Finally the eating. All I can say is 😋 Well done everyone. I’ve eaten my ice cream I got on the way home so this is the end of the report!
Until next time…

A rare Thursday evening task for Janka, Darren and Melanie to kick-start the Guest House regeneration to B&B status.
In a fairly small room, barely any paint was transferred from tub to trainer to floor as most was definitely on the walls, ready for a second coat on Saturday when the Big Clean happens.

3 GoodGymers met on a grey Sunday afternoon to help get the B&B ready for guests tomorrow (Monday). First me to you task was for Dave and Jason to move two dryers into another room, we carried out successfully in 5 minutes without any tumbles! Then it was on to touching up paintwork in all the bedrooms and hallway with Melanie leading the way.
We look forward to meeting the guests in future and encouraging them to join in some GoodGym Bristol fun.

It’s great to help the winter night shelter, originally mattress moving and for the last few years turning the B&B back to its normal purpose for the six months until next time.
This time I specialised in cleaning the individual holes in the backs of the bedroom chairs as well as getting room 2 spick and span for painting tomorrow.
