Leaflet distribution for the BHF was the order of the night.
As we set off the night air seemed Ok but as it went on it seemed to get colder and colder. We beat our host to the meeting point at the BHF furniture store and it was a bit of a worry to find it all locked up and her not answering her phone. Ok so maybe we were too early?
We went for an impromptu jog around a couple of blocks led by Sam who showed us some impressive graffiti hidden away in the cultural quarter.
As we arrived back about 10 minutes later our host turned up, phew! We had a quick photo under the lights of the store then all took a bag of about 100 leaflets for distribution when we got to Belgrave.
Out along Charles St and Belgrave Gate and down to the golden mile where we had a quick regroup under the xmas lights to decide who was going to do which street.
Working in pairs the quicker runners took the furthest out streets slower runners took the nearer etc. Once again GG Leicester did about 10 streets in record time.
With everyone back safe to the agreed meet point it was time to jog back through town to the finish. The records suggest that this was Lee's first run but of course we all know he was at the Quadrant, who can forget the pictures of him hoovering.
One to go before the xmas break and theres the social on the 21st.
See you all there.

Tonights task was to help out at The British Heart Foundations Store. This store raises vital money for research into heart disease, and relies heavily on volunteers to help run it. As the task was only a stones throw from our meeting point we decided to head off for a gentle warm up run around Woking town center. Once we completed a loop we had a quick warm up then headed off for a faster loop with Holly leading and Veronica as back marker. Once back we headed to our task where we were greeted with mops and buckets and asked to clean the shop floor. This was an easy task and took no time at all with 10 of us! Once Completed we headed to the local park for a quick workout consisting of Fartlek sprints, Squats, Planks and Burpees. Then we tackled the Steps - 10 flights of stairs at the local multi storey carpark. Twice! Once we completed this sweatfest we had a gentle cool down run and finished with some stretches, and discussed next weeks task!
