Cheylesmore Food Hub

Working in partnership with Fareshare, Coventry City Council, volunteers from the local area and generous funding and support from Severn Trent, we provide a weekly food bag for just £5 to residents of Cheylesmore, Whitley, Stonehouse Estate and Earlsdon.

Noodles of fun!

Saturday 27th January

Written by Laura Denham

GoodGym and Earlsdon running club joined forces for a Food bank run this morning.

Starting in Earlsdon we ran to Cheylesmore Food Hub loaded with tea, coffee, tins, rice, mash and noodles.

We arrived at the food hub and the volunteers were delighted to see 17 runners filling up a trolley full of donations.

We all enjoyed it and what a great feeling to start the weekend with a 5k run and good deed before 10.30am!

Thanks to you all for coming ☺

We had bags of fun!

Saturday 28th January 2023

Written by Laura Denham

Katherine and Laura met at the Cheylesmore Community Food Hub today to help pack some winter hampers for their members.

We packed the bags full of winter goodies as a little extra for the members when they come to collect their food, the bag included items such as a hot water bottle, porridge, hot chocolate and marsh mellows, yum!

It was great to help these guys out for the first time while they got on with their usual tasks and we are hoping we can work with them again in the future.
