Tonight 3 of us, along with 4 members of the local community, finally finished removing the turf at Belle Isle Park! We even managed to start sowing seeds at the end.

Today we finally got to enjoy the lighter evening without the rain and had a lovely litter pick quayside. After a little run together we covered a few kms and filled a couple of bags. Plus it’s always nice to catch up!

This evening we were back in the park picking litter - it’s always a great way to socialise and catchup. After filling two bags and admiring the sunset, we celebrated a birthday and even inspired a few locals to try a quiet drink in the bar with us. One thing was left lingering tonight though - jam on a hot cross bun? Yes or no??

Two runners had a catch up and picked up litter in the city centre. There was alot of takeaway rubbish out there and plenty of people about due to half term and the football.

Tonight the 4 of us were back cleaning the streets of litter, and it was certainly needed! 3 bags needed to pick up fast food litter, lots of tissues, can, glow-sticks and a sock!
It was also our 32nd good deed of January, beating our goal of 30!
