So Kevin and I headed to Tesco Leytonstone to help with FareShare food collection.

We decided to run the 1.5 miles from home to Tesco for our stint of food collection.

Sophie joined us and we made sure she became fully aware of Goodgym and hope she maybe joining us for a group run in the future

The folks of East London didn’t disappoint with so many donations.....to the point that we had to box up and empty our trollies three times during our three hour shift.

For those who missed out on this collection, this and many other Tesco’s have collection baskets in store all year to take donations of non perishable items to help local food banks.

3 became 2 due to the joy of a winter cold for Alice

Kevin and I ran the 1.7 miles to Tesco Leytonstone.

After signing in and quick hand over from the previous #foodheroes we set about handing out the leaflets to the shoppers.

The trolley was filling up fast so Kevin started to box up the donations ready for FareShare to collect.

Is always fun how some people try and get past you as they are sure your are trying to sell them something but little did they know I like a challenge and made sure they took the shopping list and got a donation off most of them.

We had a visit and donation from Ed Thanks for the support!

Was great to see so many youngsters making sure their parents took a list and left something as they left the shop.

An absolute pleasure to make a small contribution in helping those who need our help.
