Gardening - Preparing ground for renewal of Wildflower Meadow, weeding
FOWP plant flowers and plants in our local park to encourage biodiversity and give pleasure to local residents. We organise planting/weeding sessions and also run bird walks, small events and other community activities to encourage an understanding of nature. GoodGym have helped us before (requested by Vanessa Hampton) but I cannot find the details on this site. FOWP created a very successful wild flower meadow in 2018 but this now needs extensive preparation for some Autumn planting then further planting next Spring.12 GoodGymers have supported Friends of Wormholt Park with 4 tasks.
