7 GoodGymers have supported Havant Community Litter Pickers with 3 tasks.

Well, the title isn't quite true - we had plenty of purple sacks, and we helped the Havant Community Litter Pickers to fill 20 of them with rubbish collected from the field, the woods and the skate park (well done to Katie and Louisa for searching under the skate ramps for litter!).
John and Wilson made an unpleasant discovery of filled dog poo bags, scattered on the field, but they were collected up and disposed of more thoughtfully.
Val was helped by her grandson, Cameron, who also did an excellent job of being our Group photographer.
After the litter pick, we were invited into neighbouring St Alban's Church for a rewarding drink and cake, including Vicki's delicious flapjack.
A pleasant, chatty morning's work.

I joined the Havant Community Litter Pickers to clean up the green and leafy heart of PO9.
Amazing results of more than 20 sacks of litter, by 6 volunteers, in just 60 minutes!

Val and I joined the Havant Community Litter Pickers for a stroll through Great Copse - a well-used wood with lots of lively birdsong.
The group collect litter in this area regularly and always collect a huge amount. Today there were 17 sacks filled by 7 volunteers in just 1 hour, plus the huge tyre rolled along to the bin by Val!
